Norco City Council Members Back Russ Bogh for State Senate
January 27, 2010
Norco Mayor Malcolm Miller, Councilwoman Kathy Azevedo, Councilman Berwin
Hanna, and Councilman Harvey Sullivan are all supporting conservative
businessman Russ Bogh for the California State Senate.
"Russ Bogh is the person we need in the State Senate to straighten out the
mess in Sacramento," said Councilwoman Kathy Azevedo. "He has the proven
leadership and has voted consistently to support the people of Riverside
County. We can trust Russ to never balance the budget on the backs of cities
or schools. As our next Senator I know Russ Bogh will always fight for us."
Conservative Republican businessman Russ Bogh has served Riverside County
residents in the State Assembly from 2001-2006. During that time he was
selected by fellow Republicans to serve as the Assembly Republican Caucus
Chairman -- the second ranking Republican leader in the Assembly.
A longtime resident of Riverside County, Russ and his wife, Sheri, reside
here along with their three children.
The special election primary for the 37th Senate District will be held
Tuesday, April 13, 2010.
Norco Councilmembers Azevedo, Hanna, Miller, and Sullivan join Cathederal
City Councilmembers Kathy DeRosa Chuck Vasquez, Bud England, Corona
Councilmembers Karen Spiegel Stan Skipworth, Eugene Montanez, Steve Nolan
and Jason Scott, past Riverside CRA president Linda Soubirous, Desert Hot
Springs Mayor Yvonne Parks, former Riverside County Sheriff Larry Smith,
Palm Springs Councilman Chris Mills and many other Riverside County leaders
in supporting conservative Republican Russ Bogh for the State Senate.
